All disciplines are taught as
individual lessons, but for Music
Theory and Karate Recorder,
you may wish to come along
with a friend.

KARATE RECORDER is a highly motivational scheme to get young children
interested in music. It teaches children to instantly recall the names of musical
notes and be fluent readers of conventional music notation. This is ideal
preparation for further studies on the recorder, or another instrument. The
course is divided into nine levels that correspond to the colours of karate belts,
white, yellow, orange, green, blue, purple, red, brown and black. Assessments
and belts are included in the price of recorder lessons.

MUSIC THEORY tuition usually deals with getting pupils successfully through the
Grade 5 theory exam, essential in order to progress to the higher Associated
Board practical examinations. The next exam is on Saturday 18th June (closing
date Friday 13th May.
